APRIL: The Trench of Honor
The documentary is a recounting, with film clips from the era, of the most important political events which occurred in Santo Domingo from the government of Juan Bosch in 1963, until the ascent to power of Doctor Joaquín Balaguer in 1966.
The military outbreak of April 1965 and the subsequent United States invasion are dealt with in detail, and around these events revolve others alluded to in this full lenth film.
