This documentary shows the dramatic events which occurred in the Dominican Republic immediately after the death of Trujillo.
The struggle in the streets of the “Unión Cívica” and the “14 de Junio” against the remnants of the Trujillo regime, the efforts by Joaquín Balaguer and Ramfis Trujillo to stay in power, the beginnings in this country of the activities of the PRD, the 1962 elections, and the triumph of Professor Juan Bosch, among other events.
